TRUE STEREO VOLTAGE-CONTROLLED MIXER

The 48 HP module consists of three main sections. On the left side are the channel inputs (both audio and CV), in the middle are the channel controls, and on the right are the mix outputs, plus FX i/o and controls.

 

Channel Inputs

Each of the six channels has a pair of audio input jacks (INPUT 1, INPUT 2, etc.) for left and right stereo signals. The jacks are normalled such that a single mono source in the left jack is simply copied to the right. Alternatively, two discrete mono sources can also share a channel (see XFADE). These AC-coupled coupled inputs accept typical eurorack-level audio signals, as well as line-level audio signals when boosted using the channel’s GAIN control.

The four jacks directly below each pair of audio inputs are CV inputs, which allow for voltage control of the channel parameters. VOL affects the volume within a range of 0 to +5V. By default, this control voltage input is biased by the fader position (summed), but in VCA mode it is attenuated by the fader (see Jumper Settings). BAL affects the channel balance within a range of -5V to 5V (even with XFADE enabled), while FX1 and FX2 affect their respective send levels within a range of 0 to +5V. These latter three control voltage inputs are all biased by their knob positions.

 

Channel Controls

The GAIN parameter is used to boost the channel’s input signal(s) up to +15 dB if necessary. Most eurorack audio sources may only need a small amount of gain, whereas line-level signals may require turning the knob up to the LINE position. The red PK (peak) indicator will illuminate just before either input signal becomes audibly distorted. For a clean mix, best practice is to set the GAIN such that only loud transients trigger the PK LED.

The BAL parameter adjusts the balance of the channel’s two input signals, and behaves much like a pan control, especially with a mono input signal. Control of the parameter is not linear, but instead implements a curve according to the -4.5 dB pan law. This yields a more natural sounding stereo panning.

When the blue XFADE button is engaged, the channel is configured in dual-mono mode. Both channel input signals are positioned to stereo center, and the BAL parameter acts as a mono crossfader balancing the two signal levels. Signals that do not need stereo panning can then be doubled-up on a single channel, such as kick and snare drum, two different bass sounds, etc.

The VOL parameter adjusts the channel volume, and is also commonly referred to as the channel fader. Its 45mm vertical slider has a linear volume response for smooth fade ins and outs, with an entirely usable range. The brightness of the white LED indicates the volume position, and is of course responsive to incoming CV.

Next to the volume control is a 5-segment VU METER to help visualize signal level and dynamics. The meter is affected by both left and right channel signals. And although it does behave according to a decibel scale, the meter is intentionally biased upward for better resolution when comparing relative channel levels. By default, the VU METER is post-fader, meaning it is affected by volume adjustments, but can optionally be configured pre-fader (see Jumper Settings).

The red MUTE button, when activated, will effectively silence the channel with up to -93 dB of normal signal attenuation. Its electronically latching circuit is completely VCA-based with a very fast on/off slew, eliminating any clicks or pops when muting or unmuting the channel.

The channel’s two gray knobs, FX1 and FX2, are independent stereo effects sends. Using these parameters, an adjustable amount of the channel signal can be sent to the two shared effects busses FX SND 1 and FX SND 2, which are commonly used for time-based effects such as delay and reverb. By default, both FX1 and FX2 are post-fader sends, meaning the amount of sent signal is also affected by the channel’s volume position. However, FX1 can be configured pre-fader (see Jumper Settings) to achieve a more than 50% wet mix of effect versus dry signal.

The AB switch assigns the channel output to one or both main output mix busses. In the leftmost and rightmost positions, the channel is routed to only one of the two busses, either A or B. In the middle position however, the channel is routed to both simultaneously, allowing for parallel processing, AFL monitoring (after fade listen), and other creative uses.

 

Mix Outputs & FX I/O

Xcelon’s two aforementioned output mix busses are available at the pairs of jacks MIX OUT A and MIX OUT B. These eurorack-level stereo outputs can be patched and processed separately before reaching an output module like Monitr. Such processing modules may include stereo equalizers like EQx5, filters, compressors, limiters, crossfaders, etc.

The two pairs of output jacks FX SND 1 and FX SND 2 contain eurorack-level stereo submixes created with the effects sends controls of all channels. As previously mentioned, these are commonly patched into reverb and delay, but may also be used for other purposes like creating headphone mixes. If only the left output jack of FX SND 1 or FX SND 2 is used, any signals on the right side will be summed with the left so they are not lost.

The two pairs of input jacks FX RTN 1 and FX RTN 2 are dedicated stereo effects returns, where the output signals of effects can return to the mixer. Each return has its own manual level control, RTN 1 and RTN 2, and CV input directly above. The CV inputs affect levels within a range of 0 to +5V and are biased by their knob positions. Additionally, the two returns share an AB switch to assign them to either or both mix busses.

NOTE: The effects returns can be used alternatively as extra stereo inputs.

 

Channel Expansion

Xcelon has two expansion ports to optionally add more channels to the system. These 16-pin ports are labeled EXPANDER 1 and EXPANDER 2 and can be found on the the back of the module. Expander modules connected to these ports, such as Xcelon XP3, will have access to the two stereo mix busses and two stereo effects send busses. It may be possible to connect more than two channel expanders using a flying bus cable, but low noise performance cannot be guaranteed.

IMPORTANT: The expander ports should NOT be connected to a eurorack power bus or damage to the module(s) can occur.

 

 

Direct Outputs

The module is also equipped with several direct output ports to access individual channel signals for multi-track recording. Each bank of three stereo channels has two direct output ports, PRE and POST, to tap the channel signals either before or after the volume faders. An additional port provides direct access to the two stereo returns and mix A.

These groupings of six signals are connected using an 8-pin cable to the optional direct output modules, Xcelon TRS and Xcelon DB25 (TBA), for balanced line outputs. They can be mixed and matched in any order, and both the PRE and POST direct outputs for a bank of channels can be used simultaneously. This leaves the door open for future expansion such as dedicated cue monitoring and additional effects sends.

 

Jumper Settings

Each channel has three custom settings found on the back of the module, which are configured using one or more jumpers.

VU METER	1 jumper
POST (default)	Meter is affected by the channel volume
PRE	Meter is not affected by the channel volume

PRE is very common on DJ mixers, and is useful for adjusting the gain and visually identifying a signal before bringing it into the mix.

FX SND1	2 jumpers
POST (default)	Sent signal is affected by the channel volume
PRE	Sent signal is not affected by the channel volume

PRE is useful (and necessary) to get a very washed-out effect where the effects mix is more than 50% wet.

VOL CV	3 jumpers (or 2)
MOD (default)	CV modulates volume with fader bias
VCA	CV replaces bias voltage and fader attenuates

VCA allows the volume circuit to be used as the final VCA in a patch, saving space and modules. Simply patch an envelope into the VOL CV input, and use the fader to adjust the level.

mix tips

GAIN FOR PERFORMANCE – A useful tip for performance is to set each GAIN such that your mix sounds correct with all the faders up or at the same position. Now returning to a “balanced” mix is as simple moving faders back to the same position.

AUDIO VCA PATCH – Save space in a case for live performance or save VCAs for other purposes by using the VCA mode jumper setting for VOL CV. This allows a typical envelope to be fed into the CV input, and the overall volume can still be adjusted normally.

100% WET FX – If mix bus B is unused or not monitored, any channel can have a fully wet FX mix (no dry signal), even with rear jumpers set to POST. Just assign the channel to mix B (essentially muting it), be sure the FX return is assigned to mix A, and turn up the FX send of the channel.

XFADE MUTATION – The XFADE feature can be used to “mutate” a sound, crossfading between to similar sounds or waveforms. This is especially interesting when modulating with a rapidly changing CV signal.

FX RETURNS MUTE – Although the FX returns do not have mute buttons, the AB switch can be used to quickly remove them from either the A or B mix, which is still very effective during a live mix.

208hp 7U 4 Zone CV Bus Case arrives ready to put to use with your modules, patch cables and inspiration. The powder coated metal construction offers excellent mechanical durability. The mounting rails have been updated to black anodized tapped strip, replacing the sliding nut design of previous versions of the case. The lid is removable and can be closed with the system fully patched. The sleek matte black finish was selected to match our line of Black & Gold modules, and it looks great with just about any module installed. The Make Noise 4 Zone Power system is a new approach to accommodating the ever growing universe of Eurorack modules.The multi-zone power solution is like having multiple independent power supplies in a single case. This allows for isolating noisy modules from noise sensitive modules. Each Zone features isolated +12 VDC and -12VDC supplies and a dedicated ground return path. Included are 31 power shrouded connectors to help prevent incorrect installation. The total available power available is +12VDC @ 4A, -12VDC @ 2.4A and +5VDC @ 1A.

The CV Bus is a more functional approach to the “multiple” utility of the modular synthesizer. The CV Big Bus is an evolution of the original CV Bus design from 2013 for Alessandro Cortini’s personal Make Noise system. In an effort to accommodate the increased modulation density of the New Universal Synthesizer System, the CV Big Bus doubles the channel count from 4 to 8. These 8 channels are distributed across the center of the system allowing for quick, clean and intuitive patching. The numerical indicators are illuminated providing visual indication of channel number, level, rate and polarity for up to 8 signals to be shared throughout a patch. This distribution method is unlike the typical multiple since the control signals will appear beneath their potential destinations resulting in less cable mess. The color coding and visual indication makes navigating complex patches easier and more intuitive. Typically, the CV Bus would be used to share the most important control signals in a patch such as your clock, modulation, sequence, and audio signals – any type of signal the system creates may be shared!

A high quality Stereo Line Driver converts modular synthesizer signal levels to the commonly used Line Level. There are mini-jack inputs for Left or Mono, and Right for Stereo, a single master volume control, as well as a stereo line output pair. The left output doubles as a TRS ⅛” headphone output. These outputs are capable of driving a long cable out to a PA System or a set of Headphones. Optx v2

ADAT OPTICAL CONVERTER

Next generation ADAT conversion

Optx v2 is a pro-quality ADAT lightpipe converter for eurorack modular synthesizers. The DC-coupled module can encode and decode audio signals with extremely low noise, and CV signals with near-zero offset. Additionally, on-board sample clock allows for one-way ADAT output and the ability to be used standalone to interconnect eurorack systems.

ADAT Encoding & Decoding

Many computer audio interfaces are equipped with one or more pairs of ADAT expansion ports allowing for additional input and output channels. Optx v2 takes full advantage of these often unused ports, providing multi-channel connections directly to and from eurorack systems.

The module accepts any 8-channel ADAT encoded digital signal at the Rx TOSLINK jack (via lightpipe optical cable) and converts it into 8 discrete analog signals. Conversely, Optx v2 accepts 8 discrete analog signals and converts them into an 8-channel ADAT encoded digital signal available at the Tx jack.

When used in conjunction with software such as Bitwig Studio or Ableton CV Tools, Optx v2 is an excellent interface not just for audio, but also control voltages like 1V/oct pitch and gate signals, or LFOs, ADSRs and other modulators.

Precision and Performance

Optx v2 has been fitted with high-performance op amp input buffers and professional-grade Cirrus Logic analog-to-digital converters with extremely low noise and distortion, maximum dynamic range, and excellent overall detail. The inputs and outputs have very precise level scaling with a range of 20 Vpp (±10 V). Thus a typical eurorack audio signal of 10 Vpp will translate to exactly -6 dBFS, while maintaining an equal amount of headroom.

The module’s high-quality analog outputs, OUT 1-8, are DC-coupled and support both audio and CV (control voltage) signals at all times.

The module’s analog inputs, IN 1-8, also accept both audio and CV signals. To ensure the best possible quality and precision, each pair of inputs has a front-panel switch that selects the conversion mode appropriate for each of these two signal types.

In AUDIO mode, the selected input pair is AC-coupled by enabling high-pass filters within the ADC. This guarantees that the audio signals are converted with no DC offset and the best possible signal-to-noise ratio.

In CV mode, the selected input pair is DC-coupled, and CV signals are converted with accuracy and precision. When switched into CV mode, the input pair undergoes a self-calibration period of 5 seconds to detect and then actively correct any inherent DC offset.

Note: For critical CV input signals such as 1V/oct pitch, re-calibrating after warm-up (25 minutes) can yield even better accuracy.

On-board Sample Clock

Sample clock synchronization is essential for high-quality digital conversion that is accurate and free from jitter. Like its predecessor, Optx v2 can either sync to an external sample clock via ADAT input, or produce its own stable clock so that other devices can instead sync to the module.

There are two settings for sample clock sync selectable using dip switches on the back of the module. The first switch, SYNC, selects whether Optx v2 syncs to an external sample clock (EXT) or to its own (INT). The second switch, RATE, determines the sample rate of the on-board sample clock (44.1 or 48 kHz).

For a typical two-way ADAT connection with an audio interface, it is recommended to sync Optx v2 to the external clock of the interface by setting the SYNC switch to EXT. This requires a valid ADAT signal at the Tx jack, and is acknowledged by the BLUE LED labled EXT SYNC.

If the audio interface does not have an ADAT output port, Optx v2 can provide sample clock to the interface by setting the SYNC switch to INT and choosing the desired sample rate with the RATE switch.

It is also possible to directly interconnect two Optx modules (v1 or v2). This is similar to the two-way connection with an audio interface. In this case, one Optx must be set to internal sample clock sync (INT) and the other to external sync (EXT).

Note: For users of Push 3, the simplest configuration is to set Optx v2 to EXT and ensure Push 3 is set to Internal sample clock sync of either 44.1 or 48 kHz. The blue LED should illuminate indicating proper sync.

Signal LEDs

Optx v2 also provides visual signal indication of the 8 decoded ADAT channels feeding the OUT 1-8 jacks. Each pair of WHITE LEDs indicates the polarity (-Ve left, +Ve right) and relative strength of the signal (±10 V).

Audio-rate signals will generally light both LEDs continuously, whereas LFOs will alternate more apparently between the two. Gates, triggers and positive-going envelopes will generally light only the right LED (+Ve).

+5 V Power Source

Some of the circuitry within Optx v2 requires a +5 V power source. This source can be selected using a jumper on the back of the module. When set to OPTX, the module will create +5 V from the +12 V power rail. When set to CASE, the module will use +5 V supplied by the PSU in the case.

patch tips

CV/GATE/MOD & AUDIO RETURNS – Use CV capable software such as Bitwig Studio or Ableton CV tools to send pitch, gate, and modulation signals to Optx outputs. Patch them respectively into a 1V/oct oscillator, envelope gate input, and filter cutoff control. Then patch the audio signal(s) back to the Optx inputs to mix within the DAW software. Instrument tracks can then contain both the sequence data and audio returns for simple and powerful integration with your eurorack synth.

NOTE: 1V/oct signals will require calibration within the software.

DRUM TRIGGERS & AUDIO RETURNS – Using a drum rack in one of the aforementioned CV capable softwares, send up to 8 drum triggers to Optx outputs. Patch them into trigger inputs of drum modules, envelopes, etc. Now patch their respective audio signals back to Optx inputs to mix and process within the DAW.

NOTE: Some drum modules are responsive to varying trigger voltage. If the trigger CV output level is modulated using velocity/etc in the software, then Optx will dynamically produce trigger voltages based on velocity!

Quad voltage controlled amplifier and cascaded mixer The Quad VCA is a compact and feature packed module that is sure to find its way it almost all of your patches. In addition to being used for standard VCA duties it can also be used as a mixer and signal booster. Features: Manual LEVEL control per VCA which is convenient when using the module as a mixer or for biasing when CV modulating the VCA with a bipolar LFO. Effects section is taken care of by a special Clouds version , with dedicated feedback, pan blend and reverb sliders for intuitive and immediate control.

Stereo Morphing Granular Sampler

Multigrain is an eight-channel stereo morphing granular sampler. Layer grains and sequence from the eight available Sounds—each one loaded from your microSD sample library, or recorded directly on the module. Each of the eight Sound Buttons plays grains generated from its own sample, and its own pair of Scenes—two completely different sets of granular parameters; a dedicated Morphing Fader and CV allow you to smoothly morph between these two Scenes. Dedicated Select, Next and Gate CV inputs allow you to sequence the playback of all eight Sounds.

MIDI Mediator

LOCUTUS is designed to interface Assimil8or with MIDI instruments, controllers, and sequencers to provide multichannel modulation and new polyphonic possibilities.

LOCUTUS includes a special attached cable to connect to the Assimil8or CPU behind the panel.

LOCUTUS is 6 HP wide and 25mm deep.

MIDI sources connected to LOCUTUS’ MIDI IN port can be used to modulate Assimil8or parameters using velocity, channel pressure, and MIDI CC (Continuous Controller) messages, select presets using MIDI Program Change (PC) messages, and/or optionally trigger Assimil8or channels with MIDI notes using user-selectable assignment modes. MIDI Setups can be configured with assignment modes including Dynamic, which intelligently cycles through Assimil8or’s channels to easily create polyphonic patches, Multi assignment modes ideal for playing multitimbral Assimil8or patches with MIDI sequencers, SP-1200 modes designed especially for triggering Assimil8or with SP-1200’s MIDI output, and more.

Locutus’ MIDI OUT port can be used to optionally transmit program messages when presets are changed and/or to send MIDI CC data based on the analog control voltages patched to Assimil8or’s 24 CV inputs. Using the new CV-to-MIDI options, Assimil8or and Locutus can be configured to control and modulate MIDI equipment using a eurorack modular system.

INTRODUCTION

Cv thing is a fully mapeable CV to MIDI converter in just 6HP. Its based on our VCMC module, but aiming for small and compact performance rigs. It has eight inputs that can be mapped to any MIDI message quite easily thanks to its simple and intuitive user interface. Ccs, Program change ,v/oct to Note or Clock are some of the messages that can be configured to easily control MIDI gear from your modular rig.

Amp Crash packs the sound and feel of a cranked amp into a compact stompbox. Unlike traditional distortion or amp simulation pedals, Amp Crash creates sound physically, not just electronically. A real amplifier drives a real speaker. A real microphone captures what that speaker is actually doing. This project began when David from Rainger FX came to New York with an idea: put a microphone inside a pedal so ambient room sound could blend with your guitar signal, creating new harmonics and unexpected overtones.

After living with that idea for a while, we asked an obvious question: what if the pedal also contained its own speaker?

The moment we built the first prototype, everything changed.

The internal speaker and microphone interacted just like a real amp in a room. Suddenly we had the sound and feel of our favorite little combo amps pushed to their limits, delivering everything from touch-sensitive overdrive to absolute walls of fuzz, explosive harmonic feedback, and glorious controlled chaos.

From there, we built a complete multi-effects engine around the concept, adding Reverb, Echo, and Chorus to push those sounds even further.

Together, we created something completely versatile. It's a real mic'd amp experience, a compact recording tool, a portable practice amp, an experimental effects platform, and an endlessly inspiring instrument capable of sounds you simply can't get anywhere else.

Amplifier and Routing

POWER [Footswitch]

Buffered bypass. Engages or bypasses the pedal and turns the internal speaker on or off.

DI OUT

Controls the level of the direct amplifier signal sent to the OUTPUT.

MIC OUT

Controls the level of the internal microphone signal sent to the OUTPUT.

MIC GATE

Flip up to enable a noise gate for the internal microphone.
Note: The gate is triggered by the instrument INPUT.

GAIN

Controls the gain of the internal amplifier. Turn it to OVERLOAD for gnarly distortion and wild oscillation.

TONE

Shapes the amplifier EQ from deep, bass-heavy sounds to bright, focused tones.

SFX

Reverb

Digital reverb ranging from a small room to a massive cave.

Echo

Classic tape-style echo.

Chorus

Rich three-dimensional modulation that spans from metallic flanging to lush chorus.

DEPTH

Turned fully down, the SFX are bypassed. Controls REVERB blend, ECHO blend and feedback, or CHORUS depth.

TIME

Controls either REVERB decay, ECHO delay time, or CHORUS speed.

INPUT

Instrument input connection.

The power connector for the pedal. (See POWER info below).

OUTPUT

Sends the combined DI OUT and MIC OUT signals when engaged. In bypass, the input signal passes through unchanged.

EXT. SPEAKER (8Ω MIN)

Connect an external speaker cabinet (8Ω minimum, 3W or greater) using a speaker cable. Connecting an external speaker automatically disables the internal speaker.
Note: Plugging in a headphone adapter or a disconnected cable will also disable the internal speaker while keeping the DI OUT and MIC OUT signals active.

Power Supply: Standard 9 VDC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We recommend Death By Audio’s RAW POWER power supply for optimal performance.

Designed in collaboration with Ben “DivKid” Wilson, the Instruō øchd packs 8 all analogue LFO’s into a convenient 4HP package. Each independent core is free running with rates configured from fastest to slowest arranged from top to bottom. Each frequency range was tuned by ear during development to give the optimum spread of control frequencies running in parallel. Being 100% analogue, the LFO’s will phase organically with the ability to ebb and flow together with their global frequency control.

Modulation breathes life into otherwise static patches, but CV sources can often run out quickly. Even in larger systems. øchd adds a lot of movement without hogging a lot of space. Both small lunch box cases and larger set ups can be made to drift, move and organically change over time. With either subtle use of øchd to keep things alive or wider ranging use that drives a whole patch that drifts around itself.

OCHD EXPANDER

Meet the Instruō øchd expander ([ø]4^2), an expansion module for one of Eurorack’s most beloved modulation sources, øchd. 

Launched in 2019 and designed in collaboration with Ben “DivKid” Wilson, the Instruō øchd has set a standard for compact and versatile modulation sources which can now be seen across thousands of eurorack systems. The Instruō øchd expander [ø]4^2 adds 16 outputs and 4 new sets of functionality to øchd’s normal operation.

Using øchd’s LFOs as signal sources, øchd expander [ø]4^2 adds full wave rectified unipolar positive LFOs, analog diode logic for minimum and maximum voltage mixing, cascaded stochastic trigger signals for interesting rhythmic patterns, and R-2R 4-bit random voltage sources for all things wild and chaotic – all of which are controlled by øchd’s single frequency control and CV attenuverter.

8 LFOs in 4 HP is great and all, but 24 modulation sources in 8 HP is much, much better.

Drums4 is a 4 voice, sample based percussion sound generator.
Each voice can select its sound from a 48 sample global bank, samples are curated from my own collection of percussion sources  used in my music.
Each sample can be tuned and has an individual output for independent processing , and there’s also a simple mixer that controls levels to the main mixed output.
Operation is simple and intuitive, the selected sample is remembered after power down for each of the 4 voices.
Incoming triggers are displayed on each voice led indicator.

Triple the control

Sometimes you just need a quick audio mixer; a voltage offset; a CV mixer; an attenuator; an attenuverter; or just a voltage. Mix and match to your needs.

Wrangle those signals and dial in those voltages.

Triplatt is a three-channel active/buffered attenuverter and summing mixer. Each channel has a knob, which can function as a unipolar attenuator or a bipolar attenuverter, depending on the setting of its corresponding two-position polarity switch. It’s a versatile and super handy utility module that will find its way into almost any patch you make!

Each input is normalled to a built-in +5V DC voltage source. With nothing plugged into the jacks, each knob controls a voltage range of 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V depending on the position of the channel polarity switch.

Each output is normalled to mix into the output of the channel below, making it possible to do sub mixes in groups of two or three.

In addition, each channel has a “special function” switch to alter its input voltage in a specific way. Channel A has a 2x voltage multiplier switch, allowing you to double the voltage sent into Channel A. Channel B has a +5V switch, allowing you to add 5V to whatever voltage is sent into Channel B. Channel C has a mute switch, allowing you to completely turn off the signal being sent into Channel C.

Zeptomod Plus is an expanded version of the Zeptomod module , a eurorack family of our take on the Zeptocore device by Infinite Digits.

Everything works exactly the same as in Zeptomod, with added trigger inputs for the 16 buttons, and Knobs X, Y and Z are upgraded with sliders. There is also a master output level as a final control.

All levels are Eurorack compatible.

A, B, C, D are "shift" keys that access a number of features with the sliders:

The Veno-Orbit is a dual channel, polyphonic, experimental sampler designed for live recording and manipulation of audio and CV. With an immediate user interface with no menus, 1 knob per function, and intuitive LED feedback, the module is both quick and flexible, allowing for maximum creativity.

Record and loop your patch, re-pitch, scrub, jump the play head and crop on the fly, and grab the perfect loop with adjustable cross fade length. Turn your samples into a playable instrument by cross fading between 4 layers, with built-in attack and release envelopes. Alternatively, trigger one-shot samples from any layer polyphonically to create textural clusters of sounds, or map across a keyboard via MIDI - play chords with your oscillators in seconds!

Record and play back CV, whether it be modulation, envelopes or pitch sequences. The module’s inputs and outputs track V/oct accurately, and adjustable slew limiters can be used to add portamento. Use one channel for audio and the other as modulation for some interesting self-patching possibilities.

Keep perfect time - choose to quantise to an external clock, effectively slicing the sample into equal length sections determined by the clock frequency. Additionally, make sure to capture the first transient of your audio by using record detect.

CV over start, length and pitch, gate inputs for play, record and reverse and EOC outputs provide many patching options, taking full advantage of the modulation and sequencing available in Eurorack.

A micro-SD card interface allows saving and recalling samples on all layers, with 64 presets across 8 banks available.
